Regulation on Calculation and Application of Foreign Currency Net General Position/Equity Standard Ratio by Banks on Consolidated and Unconsolidated Basis Has Been Amended

The Regulation Amending the Regulation on Calculation and Application of Foreign Currency Net General Position/Equity Standard Ratio by Banks on Consolidated and Unconsolidated Basis (“Regulation”) has been published in the Official Gazette numbered 32039 on December 10, 2022.
 
To take effect as of January 9, 2023, the maximum limit of the absolute value of the foreign currency net general position/equity standard ratio calculated on the basis of consolidated financial statements has been decreased to 5% from 20% under the Regulation.
